Season, weather and growth rate all shape the right approach. Strong growth may need more frequent attention, while stressed or slow-growing grass deserves restraint rather than the same routine regardless of condition.
Knowing when the lawn needs more than a cut
Moss, thatch and compaction can restrict air, water and nutrients around the roots. Where those issues are holding the lawn back, we may recommend scarifying or aeration at the right point in the season rather than treating every problem with more mowing.
